Unknown Author Week - South Row

Unknown Week

The club picked Ghiselle St. James' first publication South Row. Ghiselle also happens to a member of our club.

Synopsis:

Southerlynn Row crept into my bed one night and I don't know how it happened, but one minute I was telling her to leave and the next...well, the next I was her first and then she disappeared from my life like a specter in the night and I never saw her again.

For ten years I wondered where she was and for ten years I've been haunted by her memory. I am locked into a union I do not want to be in, with a woman that I do not love, because even after ten years this redhead still haunts my dreams and my fantasies. Just when I think that I've buried that part of my life, the past comes back with a vengeance.

A night out with the boys at a strip club was what I needed after a long and grueling case that I ended up winning. I wasn't prepared for who I'd see headlining the stage that night, though. And once I saw her, my heart - and other...um, organs - started pulsating again.

*******

Ten years ago, I seduced the man I loved and walked out of his life. Ten years later, and I plan on doing it again. If only I can stop embarrassing myself in front of him: like face-planting on the floor during a sexy dance as I try to lure him back into my life...and my lacy boy shorts.

I've had a messed up past, but Collin Danes made it all worth it to experience day by day. I spent ten years of my life without him. I refuse to do it again.

I'm a grown woman now. And if I'm going to get what I want, I'm going to need a plan. When something is meant to be, nothing or no one - no matter how rich and pretty they are - can stand in the way.

Cover Reveal for Ava Manello's Strip Back

Strip Back

Author: Ava Manello

Coming November 30, 2014

Strip Back brings you back to how the Naked Night's began. This is Eric's story. Back when life was a little less polished, and a whole lot harder.

Before there was Strip Teaser, there was Eric; manager and founder of the Naked Night’s male stripper troupe.

You wouldn’t think you’d be past it at 34, but that’s the position Eric found himself in, as well as newly single after finding his girlfriend in a compromising position.

Setting up the Naked Night’s wasn’t easy, it wasn’t fun, and it wasn’t without sleaze, but somehow he did it.

Strip Back is a humorous and steamy tale of one man’s journey to fulfill a dream. Not all male strippers are the same.

New Release Phoenix Rising

Author: CJ Bishop
Release Date: September 19, 2014

BOOK ONE: “The Phoenix Rising”

“Is it peace…or the calm before the storm?”

From an outsider’s perspective, the Phoenix Club might be just another high-end gay strip club, catering to the taboo desires and fetishes of wealthy men who wish to remain discreet about their preferences. But the Phoenix is so much more than a “workplace” to the owner, Maxwell Raines, and the young men who dance there. Max’s bond with his boys reaches far beyond that of employer and employee. For many of the boys, the club has become the only home they’ve ever known, and Max the only “father” figure to step up and lay claim to them, taking them in, caring for them, protecting them.

The Phoenix boys have been through the worst of the worst, but amidst the nightmares both past and present, their love, devotion and faith in one another has risen above the pain and anguish that once crushed them and threatened to break their family apart. Hearts have been healed, lives saved, trust renewed. Now the worst is behind them and for the first time, they begin to relax and enjoy the blessing of their lives. But smaller issues linger over from past events and, if not dealt with, could threaten the newfound peace and contentment.

"PHOENIX CLUB" FRIENDLY Version:

With the truth brought to light, Max and Horatio bask in their love for one another and make plans to meet with Darius Lindstrom in hopes of learning who Max’s real father was. Cole and Gabe wait anxiously for their test results, trusting all will be well and their love life can return to normal.

In Clint’s custody, Axel remains frightened of the man but is quickly discovering a side of himself he wasn’t previously aware of as Clint introduces him to new passions and desires that leave him both troubled and excited. Having let go of Max and Horatio, Carl and Seth find new loves in unexpected places and allow themselves to explore fresh possibilities. Among their happiness, though, lesser issues continue fester among the Phoenix boys that begin to slowly surface as the greater threats are now laid to rest.

New Release! Jack of Hearts/Boys of Porn

Author: A.M Snead

Release Date: September 8, 2014

Summary:

In a taboo industry that thrives on raw, emotionless sex, Gideon Dodd is a visionary who views gay sex as a thing of beauty and something to be celebrated rather than exploited. Gideon’s boys are the best in the business, not merely for their exquisite talents but for the bonds they share with one another as their mutual love for each other thrives on and off the camera. But as within all families, tension – and even jealousies – arise and threaten their ‘harmony’ at both home and work.

Jack Heart – 21, cute and with just enough “cockiness” to be a natural in front of the camera – has a passion for sex, but not for love. Believing that the porn industry poses no threat to his heart, Jack is surprised to discover a new home and a close-knit family among Gideon Dodd’s boys. With Parents who disapprove of his “lifestyle”, and the one person he was closest to now gone, Jack is drawn into the family atmosphere that Gideon has created. Yet when co-star Garrett North begins to test his resistance to falling in love, Jack’s heart suddenly becomes the prize to win. But is Garrett playing for keeps…or is Jack simply another conquest for the popular porn star?

Tear-Jerker Week - Making Faces

Tear-Jerker Week

Synopsis:

Ambrose Young was beautiful. He was tall and muscular, with hair that touched his shoulders and eyes that burned right through you. The kind of beautiful that graced the covers of romance novels, and Fern Taylor would know. She'd been reading them since she was thirteen. But maybe because he was so beautiful he was never someone Fern thought she could have...until he wasn't beautiful anymore.
Making Faces is the story of a small town where five young men go off to war, and only one comes back. It is the story of loss. Collective loss, individual loss, loss of beauty, loss of life, loss of identity. It is the tale of one girl's love for a broken boy, and a wounded warrior's love for an unremarkable girl. This is a story of friendship that overcomes heartache, heroism that defies the common definitions, and a modern tale of Beauty and the Beast, where we discover that there is a little beauty and a little beast in all of us.

Biker Week - Incandescent

Biker Week

Synopsis:

Phoenix ‘Nix’ Knight thought pulling his club out of the illegal shit his Pops got them into was difficult.

Until he meets Kadence.

Kadence Turner has no business lusting over a student’s father, especially the president of the Knights Rebels MC. Nix is crass, obnoxious and dangerously sexy and for some reason, Kadence can’t seem to hate him for it. The bossy biker breaks down her defenses, but unlike the old Kadence, the woman she is today won’t give in without a fight.

The tension is undeniable, the attraction fierce. A man that wants what he wants and a woman that will fight him every step of the way.

Jess's Review:

*****4 out of 5 stars***

This was exactly what I had hoped it would be; a solid MC story. I liked that the club was a better side of the law, as some of the other MC books that I have read the club is on the other side of the law. That, in itself, made the story refreshing. I liked the characters and I loved Nix's dirty mouth. I liked the other drama that was going on and enjoyed getting to know everyone. The book also made me really excited for the next one and Ms. Savage set up the continuation of the story line very nicely.

Phoenix Knight, president of the Knight's Rebel MC. He has worked hard to get the club to the place where it is now. He has the respect and love from his family and lives his life the way he wants to. Until his bitch of an ex throws him into meeting with their son's teacher. Kadence Turner, the school teacher who has been through the ringer and back. She is just learning to live her life the way she wants after tragedy took control of her life three years prior. These two are like oil and water and instantly sparks are flying. Those sparks are not always of the sexual nature and often of the more of the fighting in nature. The banter and back and forth made me laugh and Nix and Kadence had great chemistry. She pushes his buttons and he pushes back harder.

I liked that it was not a case of insta-love and that we got to see both sides of the story. I loved Nix's rough-around-the-edges attitude, but he also was a family man, level headed (for the most part) and thoughtful. Kadence understandably had issues, but at times she did get a bit annoying and I wanted to yell at her to get over it. But all-in-all a really great first novel and a definite series that I intend to follow.
