My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I love sport genre books and MJ Fields scores with Offensive Rebound!

After a devastating loss of a father Courtney barley knew, she has inherited a struggling NBA team, the Seattle Stallions. After a broken engagement to the team's lying, cheating golden child, Courtney realizes that sometimes games have to be played off the court. With the team's newcomer Trae Rhodes, who has his own agenda for taking down the golden child, she might have found her partner in crime. But what happens when lines get blurred, passion burns and the season ends?

I absolutely adored this book! It has all the elements of a great read for me, revenge plot, quirky friends, a strong heroine and a dirty talking hero.

The chemistry between Courtney and Trae was scorching. There was so much heat and sexual tension whenever these two were together. Technically Courtney was Trae's boss and he didn't mind her taking charge until it came to the bedroom. Then this sexy, dirty talking baller was calling the plays!

Offensive Rebound has wonderful secondary characters. The friendship that Courtney and Christa shared was sisterhood at its best. The fatherly love and devotion Trae has with his daughter was sweet and beautiful.

I hope MJ Fields plans to write more about the Seattle Stallions because I have become a basketball "honey"!
