This is Reckless by Kennedy Fox

UGHHHH....SH*T....okay now that, that is out of the way I can attempt to move on. While this book can be read as a standalone I would recommend reading the two before it; one because Travis, two because you get a sense of who these characters on and three it built up a lot of anticipation for this one.
Courtney has been in lust with Drew for years. Being his now roommate has not tempered those feelings at all, especially now that he is one of her best friends. Drew is oblivious to the was Courtney feels as he is dealing with his own on-again-off-again relationship with the shedevil. They have danced this dance for sometime, have a routine and then Courtney manages to sneak her way into Drew's thoughts in a different way.
Courtney is a great character, a southern belle who is not afraid to get her hands dirty or floury. She is sassy, funny, a great friend and apparently has a thing for handcuffs (who knew). I have had a crush on her for two books now and I love that what you see is what you get with her. She doesn't pretend to be something she is not; she is confident but has a vulnerability to her too. Drew can sometimes be a dumb boy and too blinded by evil to see what is right there. His unhealthy relationship has caused a lot of problems for him and hopefully this will be the final off-again. Besides him being blind, he has a great heart, is a good guy and smoking under that badge. While not a fun as Courtney is, he can totally hold his own and is completely swoon-worthy.
I enjoyed this book; it had some drama, chemistry (okay a lot of chemistry), it made me laugh and even "awe" a few times. It was nice to see what Travis and Violet were up to and maybe setting us up for another story?? I did kind of expected the ending that we got (well, sort of), leaving me to stalk away to see when the next book is coming out.
