One More Night by Sarah O'Rourke
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Waverlee Armstrong is working two jobs and putting herself through school to make a better life. Barely enough time to sleep, men definitely are not a priority or a consideration. But when Crenshaw Jacobson keeps coming to the bar where she works only sitting in her section, Waverlee tries to convince herself that one night with Shaw will be all she needs. But what happens when Shaw wants one more night?
It is no secret I am a big fan of the two authors that make up Sarah O'Rourke. Reading One More Night just proves what amazing storytellers these ladies are.
I don't think I have read two more stubborn people than Waverlee and Shaw or a couple more perfect for each other. Waverlee has had so much struggle in her young life that she is too scared to rely on anyone. Stubborn and proud, she is determined to succeed on her own with no handouts. I loved this about Waverlee, because she shows her grit and strength.
But could you have a more perfect man than Shaw? He has a single focus and that is Waverlee. He didn't let anything stop him from getting her. He was sweet and dirty rolled into one hot package.
This is a quick read bursting with heart and steam definitely a must read!
