Mister Moneybags by Vi Keeland
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Probably the best elevator scene, ever!
This is not my first book by these two authors and every time it is light and fun and refreshing and Mister Moneybags was no different. The story line is developed and different. The humor is fresh and funny, it doesn't seem forced or unrealistic. It was also sexy in it's own way.
Bianca is funny and has her mind made up about wealth. She works as a journalist and her new assignment is to interview the one and only Dex Truitt. She doesn't like him even though they have never met and she does not intend to go easy on him. And then she meet Jay on that fated elevator and things get a little bit more blurry.
Dex moves mountains to become Jay. He doesn't know why he does it, he doesn't know what made him lie but soon he is playing two people to the one person who just might be it for him. There is a saying about good intentions and soon Dex needs to figure out how to fix his mess.
This story line really had my attention as I was trying to figure out how in the world it was going to get fixed. There were also a number of other incidents that had me in that impatient limbo place waiting to see how the outcome was going to unfold. There was also tons of sexual tension and innuendos that had me smiling and a bit wound. Another great collaboration of two great authors.
