Release Blitz ~ #REVIEW ~ Sins of the Father by Marie James

Title: Sins of the Father: A Ravens Ruin Novel
Series: Ravens Ruin
Author: Marie James
Genre: MC/Dark Contemporary Romance
Release Date: October 11, 2018

I’m not misunderstood.

I’m not confused about my position in life.

I’m not looking for answers to explain why I am the way I am.

This is the logic others use to try to make sense of me. According to them, there has to be a reason for my apathy. There has to be some sort of explanation for the calculating way I run my Club. There has to be a root cause for my depravity.

They can’t wrap their heads around the fact that I’m evil, that I’m darkness personified. Doing so would force them to acknowledge that the Devil has left Hell and is living among them.

Most people may think I’m Satan, but I answer to Lynch, President of the Ravens Ruin MC, and the Antichrist doesn’t have sh*t on me.

I don't even know how to adequately put into words what I just read.

This book was amazing. It was perfection. Every time I think Marie James can't make me love a book more, then she puts out a new one. But Sins of the Father is like nothing else from her. I love the Cerberus MC books. I always will. But the Raven's Ruin MC now holds an all new special place in my heart.

This book is dark and gritty. It gets in your head and messes with your emotions. There were twists I never saw coming and had to practically pick my jaw up off the flow when they came.

I alternately loved and hated Lynch. He had moments that made me want to throat punch him and others where I was envious of Candi and the fact that he was all hers. Candi was pretty much a bad***. She was shy and yet outgoing. She put up with some crap most woman wouldn't want to even fathom and at the same time she stood up for herself. I absolutely loved her and Lynch together.

And all the while as I am all wrapped up in the two main characters of this book, Marie James is building the foundation for the up coming books. She's slowly giving me glimpses and sneak peeks at what might be in store for the other members of the MC. I need Briar's book, I am desperate for TJ's story, and I don't even know what to think about the Professor. I am going to be anxiously on the look out for the next one to get on my Kindle.
