Lynzi's Review ~ Battle of the Sexes by Adriana Locke

Battle of the SexesBattle of the Sexes by Adriana Locke
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Short, sweet, and swoon worthy. All things that make a book good. It's no secret that Adriana Locke is one of my faves. I have loved everyone of her books I have read, and this one was no different.

Carver took over the President seat for his father at his company Jones + Gallum. That company has been in his life since he was a baby, which makes sense for it to become his life, as an adult. Being CEO and making his father proud is what he wants most. But he never thought he would have to fight for said CEO position. Especially not against a girl he grew up with. A girl he's always wanted. A girl who hasn't been around. He hates that all his blood, sweat and tears could have been for nothing, and the title go to someone who doesn't deserve it. He has to, game on.

Amity plans on taking her father's seat at the company he has built with his best friend, Carver's dad. Carver is the cause of so much pain an anxiety that is in Amity's life. So she would love nothing more than to finally win. Finally hit him where it hurts. She doesn't plan on losing or backing down. Nor will she let her old feelings for him, or his looks, get in her way. She knows him, knows his ways, and how he works. She's come to, game on.

These two together were hilarious. They were definitely something else. I'm not used to a short book. I normally don't like short stories, because I feel like they leave so much out, but I loved this one.
