Jaden Matthews has never known his father or his father's family, but he's about to get a crash course on having siblings. With the recent passing of his grandmother, he's discovered he has three half-brothers and part ownership of a gym. In Serenity, Florida. His life in New York has hit a rocky road, so maybe this is the vacation he needs to get things back on track.

Chase Michaels lost his future in a car crash almost ten years ago, and he's made a new one for himself in Serenity. One that doesn't include getting emotionally involved with people who are just passing through. But Jaden makes his common sense flee and his gut react. He's got one month with the man who made him believe in taking a chance.

4.5 stars
Jaden Matthews never knew his father. He and his mom moved when he was little after his father left her. Now he's found out his grandmother has passed, and included him in her will. A trip to Florida is in order to handle business there, and meet his half brothers, and maybe a special someone too.
Jaden was only raised by his mother, who didn't show a lot of affection. He always felt the need to please her,  and that followed into his marriage as well. I felt he really needed that separation after his divorce. Going to Florida was the perfect segway into his future. Meeting his brothers, Zane, Phoenix and Elliot was very overwhelming for him. Meeting Chase Michaels was exactly what he needed, but didn't realize.
Chase lost everything in an accident ten years ago. Making a new life for himself in Serenity Springs, Florida, he refuses to fall for someone who's just visiting. After all, they would only have one month together. Jaden does something to him though. The chemistry can't be denied. Hearts are on the line and chances are taken.

I loved the storyline here. Everything is described beautifully and the story is believable. It had a slow build, but was very easy to keep reading. I wasn't bored at all. Both characters were well developed and I loved the fact that they were written as normal people with flaws and all. I really enjoyed Chase and Jaden's brothers helping him get through a tough time in his life. Seeing Jaden become who he was meant to be was heartwarming. It was great that he followed his journey all the way through. This was my first Meg Harding book and I was extremely pleased with it. I'm definitely looking into more of her work after reading this one.
